BAADER 2″ Nosepiece to T-2/M48 Adapter for Binoviewers & Filters

The Baader 2″ Nosepiece to T-2/M48a is a high-precision adapter that bridges 2″ telescope focusers with accessories featuring T-2 or M48 threads—ideal for use in compact astrophotographic or visual setups using binoviewers, diagonals, or cameras.

Designed with an ultra-short optical path of just 2.5 mm, it minimizes backfocus consumption, making it perfect for tight-focus configurations. The telescope side features a safety groove and a 2″ filter thread (M48) for mounting standard filters directly into the barrel.

The eyepiece/camera side includes a countersunk T-2 female thread (M42 x 0.75) and a hidden M48 male thread accessible by removing the included M48 stopper ring, enabling a wide range of mechanical and optical connections.

Also available as a Safety-Kerf version with extra-short 3 mm T-2 thread (#2458130), offering additional anti-slip protection.
