The Player One UV/IR Cut 2″ – Luminance filter (SKU: POA-AH-UVIR-CUT-2) blocks ultraviolet radiation below ≈400 nm and infrared radiation above ≈700 nm, while transmitting only the visible spectrum. This ensures faithful colors and sharp stars in L-RGB images and protects the telescope from blur caused by longer IR wavelengths when working with lens optics.
