Discerning observers and astrophotographers will find what they’re looking for with Skywatcher’s new flagship ESPRIT series. The three-lens apochromats have a multi-coated Ohara FPL 53 lens and two Schott elements. This guarantees top-quality and true-colour images from the Moon to deep sky objects.
Top class refractors: Esprit series three lens element apochromats offer high-end quality telescopes to astrophotographers and discerning observers. The combination of an Ohara FPL-53 ED lens element with two other lens elements ensures that the objective lens delivers high contrast but no apparent chromatic aberration – even with very bright objects. Ohara is a German company from Hofheim in the Taunus range and is a world leader in the manufacture and development of optical glass. FPL series glasses were developed by Ohara specifically for applications in astronomy.
The advantages in a nutshell:
