ToupTek 2″ M54 Filter Cassette – Universal Compatibility for High-Quality Astrophotography

The ToupTek 2″ M54 Filter Cassette has been designed to ensure high performance on ToupTek PRO series cameras, but thanks to the standard M54x0.75 thread , it is also compatible with many ZWO cameras such as the ASI6200 and ASI2400 . This accessory allows the quick insertion of 2″ filters into the optical train, maintaining a compact system with an overall thickness of only 20mm .

Connection Method (to M48 Threaded Flattener/Reducer):

Configurations with ZWO cameras

• ZWO 1″ or 4/3″ Cameras (without OAG):

  • Requires optional adapters: M54M-M48F (16.5mm) and M54M-M42M (1mm) .

  • Backfocus combination: 16.5mm + 1mm + 20mm + 17.5mm = 55mm total.

• ZWO 1″ or 4/3″ chambers (with OAG ZWO):

  • Requires optional adapters: M54M-M48F and M54M-M42M (1mm) .

  • Backfocus combination: 17.5mm (OAG) + 20mm (cassette) + 17.5mm (camera) = 55mm total.

• ZWO ASI2600MC/MM (without OAG, M42 thread):

  • Requires optional M54M-M48F (16.5mm) and M54M-M42M (1mm) adapters .

  • Backfocus combination: 17.5mm + 20mm + 17.5mm = 55mm total.

• ZWO ASI2600MC/MM (with OAG ZWO):

  • Requires M54M-M48F ring .

  • Backfocus combination: 17.5mm (OAG) + 20mm (cassette) + 17.5mm (camera) = 55mm total.

• ZWO ASI2400/6200 (without OAG, M54 thread):

  • Requires optional M54M-M48F (16.5mm) and M54M-M54M (1mm) adapters .

• ZWO ASI2400/6200 (with OAG ZWO):

  • Direct connection on plate.

  • Note: Vignetting possible when using OAG ZWO with M42.

• ToupTek Cooled Camera (with OAG ZWO):

  • Requires M54M-M48F and M54M-M42M (1mm) adapter .

  • Backfocus combination: 16.5mm (OAG) + 20mm (cassette) + 17.5mm (camera) = 54mm total.

• ToupTek Cooled Camera (with ToupTek OAG):

  • Integrated ToupTek OAG with 17.5mm backfocus.

  • Backfocus combination: 17.5mm (OAG) + 20mm (cassette) + 17.5mm (camera) = 55mm total.
