The new Acuter Maksy 60 telescope is a fully functional telescope set with the great advantage of the easy-to-remove cover, which allows you to explore the fascinating interior of the high-quality Maksutov Cassegrain optical system and understand its function. This compact and easily transportable telescope is ideal for observing and learning about the starry sky, as well as taking photos with your own smartphone to support your own observations.
The set consists of a 60mm Maksutov Cassegrain telescope with 750mm focal length, a 37.5x and a 75x magnifying eyepiece, an Amici prism for image alignment and a smartphone adapter. The set comes in an attractive gift box with a carrying handle for easy transport. The telescope can be extended as required with optionally available standard 1.25″ telescopic eyepieces. This gives you even more versatile options.
The Maksutov telescope is named after Dmitri Maksutov (1896 – 1964), a Russian optician and astronomer who introduced this telescope design in 1941. The Acuter Maksy 60 is perfect for discovering the world of the universe in his footsteps!
