The 5x Barlow lens from Antares has a 2-element Barlow system with very good multi-coating. The image quality is accordingly high.
The twist-lock system of Antares allows a perfect clamping on the axis. Canting of accessories is no longer possible and the problems with the combination of safety groove and ring clamping are a thing of the past. When clamping, the eyepiece is held over a height of 15 mm and thus centered. A small amount of force is sufficient to achieve a very stable clamping.
Quintuples the focal length of the telescope and clamps the following accessories (eyepiece, camera) without tilting or lateral displacement.
