The Artesky Short Barlow lens has an ultra-short 4-element optical architecture and an apochromatic correction that is the envy of many competitors.
You can use the Barlow lens with an eyepiece or with a camera (astronomical or reflex) to increase your focal length and thus also the magnification obtained; the objects framed always appear well defined and very contrasted, but above all without chromatic aberrations !
We have conducted numerous optical tests, on the sky with eyepieces and on the sky with latest generation cameras, making numerous comparisons with numerous Barlow lenses on the market of certain quality, before offering this product on the market.
With the combination of 4 optical elements, the Artesky Short Barlow offers clear and defined images without internal reflections, thanks to the multilayer coating of the apochromatic quadruplet and also to the internal body of the lens which is blackened and threaded to minimize internal reflections.
An integrated brass ring lock allows you to close the entire surface of the eyepiece without damaging the barrel in any way, you will no longer risk leaving marks or scratches, furthermore the lock allows you to have a perfectly aligned optical axis unlike many other Barlows on the market.
There is a thread for screwing 31.8mm filters into the end of the barrel.
