The Askar 120APO boasts a 120mm aperture for exceptional light-gathering power, resolution, brightness, and contrast, achieving a 36% increase in aperture area compared to the 103APO. This enhances its ability to capture intricate details and brighter objects with a maximum limiting magnitude of 12.2.
Utilizing a triplet air-spaced APO lens design with ED glass, it effectively corrects chromatic aberration while maintaining a compact and lightweight form at 6.5kg.
The dew shield, two finder bases, and an extended handle enhance usability. The tube rings, Vixen dovetail plate, and optional accessories like the 1x flattener and 0.8x reducer offer versatile customization.
The Askar 120APO boasts a versatile 3.3-inch dual-speed rack and pinion focuser compatible with most motorized focusers. It offers precise focus adjustments with a high-precision scale along its 10cm focusing travel.
At the rear, a 360° high-precision rotator, complete with precise scales, simplifies angle adjustments and ensures secure positioning, even under heavy loads, thanks to an enlarged locking screw.
The telescope also includes a 360° rotator, a 1.25″/2″ adapter, and is meticulously crafted with CNC machining and an elegant design.
