The AP 107/740 optics are a powerful astrograph. The triplet lens with a 107 mm aperture provides high-contrast and colour-pure images. The built-in single-lens flattener (field flattening lens) ensures excellent field correction. Overall, the Apo offers a four-lens optical system optimised for astrophotography.
The rotatable and geared focuser has a large adjustment range, so you can find the focus without any problems.
The working distance (back focus) is long enough to allow the use of a 2″ diagonal mirror. This turns the Flatfield Apo into a large-field telescope or even a planetary telescope, depending on the eyepiece used.

Askar 107PHQ – 107mm F/7 Quadruplet Refractor with 44mm Flat Field
The Askar 107PHQ is the most advanced model in the PHQ series, a 107mm Quadruplet Apochromatic Refractor designed to ensure absolute excellence in astrophotography . Thanks to the sophisticated optical design with two ED glass elements , it provides perfect chromatic correction and a 44mm flat field without the need for additional accessories.
With a focal length of 749mm and a focal ratio of F/7 , the 107PHQ offers exceptional sharpness and definition throughout the field. An optional 0.7x reducer is available , bringing the telescope to 490mm F/4.9 , perfect for wide-angle shots and extended objects.
