Astrozap is a leading manufacturer of flexible and fixed dew shields, suitable for all common telescope models. We can therefore offer you a wide range of dew shields.
All aluminium dew shields are equipped with a very durable double weld seam. Lined with felt on the inside to absorb moisture and minimise stray light reflections. Strong thread reinforcements and nylon screws ensure a secure hold and do not cause any tension on the objective or Schmidt plate. The Astrozap aluminium dew shields are colour-matched to the telescope.
The recess provides space for prism rails that extend to the front end of the tube, or for guiding the camera cables (Hyperstar, RASA).
