A laser really designed to be used as a telescope finder.
Works without battery. Connected to 12V DC with a standard DC connector (5.5mm x 2.1mm).
The power of 35mW generates a powerful and stable beam.
It is activated by an external remote control with two different operating modes (see images) with a range of 30m. This prevents manipulation of the laser and its decollimation.
The laser as a finderscope is especially useful for quickly aligning and finding objects. In GoTo systems, it allows you to easily pinpoint the location of objects.
It’s ideal for public observations and outreach, as it allows attendees to be shown the position of objects in the sky, without having to approach the telescope.
Laser module and switch housing made of ABS with 3D printing technology. Hand assembled.
To conserve the laser, it automatically shuts off after 15 seconds when operating in continuous mode.
