Binoculars as a solar telescope: Celestron’s EclipSmart binoculars have built-in solar filters that allows you to look directly at the Sun. Unlike removable filters that could become detached when you least expect it, EclipSmart binoculars have fixed filters embedded in the lens. So you can enjoy a worry-free view of the Sun.
Although their design is that of standard binoculars, they are only suitable for visual observation of the Sun. Therefore, they are classified here under solar telescopes.
