Versatile microscope for studies
More than just a high quality entry-level microscope, it is often used by students and veterinarians.
The microscope has a coarse and fine drive, a quadruple objective nosepiece with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x (oil immersion) magnifying objectives, cross table with fine movement and a wide field Kellner eyepiece (10x). The light intensity can be dimmed. A fully adjustable Abbe condenser (N.A. = 1.25), which optimally bundles the LED light of the microscope and illuminates the object evenly, ensures optimal illumination. The condenser is exchangeable, which means that the microscope can be retrofitted with both a dark field condenser and a phase contrast set (!).
Expandability – even battery operation possible!
A battery holder is integrated in the microscope body, which can hold 3 standard AA rechargeable batteries and charge them automatically when the microscope is supplied with power via a cable (rechargeable battery not included). The BIM-151 microscopes can be retrofitted with a dark field condenser (dry) or with a 10x and 40x phase contrast set. Even a life blood test is possible if the bright field condenser is replaced by a CDF condenser.
