Benefits of using OAG (Off-Axis Guider) is to utilize the identical optical path as the main camera, mitigating the issue of differential deflection that may arise when employing a separate optical system for guiding purposes. This approach significantly enhances the precision of guiding and results in sharper and more refined images.
FHD-OAG use 8 * 14mm , which is close to 16: 9 format.
It can give no vignetting result on Xena-M camera, and because the prism height is only 8mm, the prism could closer to the center of light path and accept more lights.
