The Wanderer White Dwarf is a motorless, manual flat panel. It is compact in size and very lightweight, making it ideal for backyard astronomy. It comes standard with a self-developed manual dimmer, which has a dimming range of about 10 F stops and no strobe (the dimmer is controlled by a knob and cannot be controlled by ASCOM). The input voltage of the White Dwarf is 12V, but of course it can be lower than 12V (the minimum operating voltage is about 7.5V). In addition to using our dimmer, you can also dim the light by controlling the input voltage or PWM duty cycle with any other DC dimmer.
