The ZWO ASI 533 MM-P monochrome camera is a product designed for people who want to start their adventure with photographing deep sky objects. Thanks to the high quantum efficiency and very low noise level of the Sony IMX455 sensor and the 14-bit ADC converter, this camera generates breathtaking images with unprecedented sharpness and tonal dynamics.
Thanks to the use of an optical sensor built in the “back-illuminated” technology, an unprecedented sensitivity was obtained, which will allow to register a weak signal coming from even the farthest objects in the far space. This product is also free from the “Amp Glow” effect, characteristic of many CMOS sensors, which causes some parts of the image to brighten during long exposures. In terms of construction, this camera is a fully improved equivalent of the highly valued ASI 183 MM-P model, for which it is characterized by a significantly increased capacity well capacity, higher quantum efficiency and a greater dynamic range. analog to digital converter.
A two-stage cooling system based on Peltier cells is responsible for maintaining a low dark current of the matrix, even during long exposures. It has been designed in such a way as to keep the sensor at a temperature even 35 ° C lower than the ambient temperature.
