CHROMA Filters SII 8nm 1,25″

These nebula filters from Chroma offer high contrast. Thus, the astrophotographer achieves a good result even with stray light from cities. The high transmission is given up to a focal ratio of f/4.

The [S II] line of singly ionized sulfur atoms is a common line in nebulae (actually a doublet) and serves as a complement to [O III] and H-alpha to be able to generate SHO tricolor images. Filters for this wavelength range cannot be used visually.
