Περιγραφή
The refractors in the EvoStar series not only feature an elegant design, but also premium optics. On various mounts, you will find achromats with two lenses in the lower price segment and apochromats with a double lens system in the higher price segment. The special glass significantly reduces colour aberrations and ensures a spectacular viewing experience.
Due to the use of less glass in their construction, the Evostars are usually lighter and therefore more comfortable to transport than triplets with the same aperture.
- Wide-field optics, also ideal as a travel telescope
- ED doublet lens with glass from Ohara, Japan
- High-quality multi-coating
- For visual observations and astrophotography alike
- Transport cases included in delivery
The AP 80/600 ED Telescope:
This wide field refractor is an ideal telescope for wide field observing, providing a compact portable telescope giving a sharp, high-contrast image. With an 80mm aperture and 600mm focal length, this doublet ED telescope has high performance optics, offering astrophotographers a fast optical system with its F7.5 aperture ratio. The use of FPL-53 ED glass almost completely eliminates colour aberration. ED glass (extra low dispersion) has a very low colour dispersion and a low refractive index. Excellent correction of chromatic aberration is achieved by the combination of this special glass with other optical glass. Improved contrast is achieved by the use of crown glass from the German firm of Schott. The metallic high transmission coating applied to the lenses ensures high light transmission. Photographers get their money’s worth, as objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy or the famous Pleiades open cluster are seen particularly well at this focal length. The OTA is equipped with a robust 2 inch Crayford focuser. The telescope is optimal for use as a guide scope or as a second imaging device for astrophotographers. Its short focal length makes it excellent for use with an autoguider. The refractor can also be turned into a powerful spotting scope for nature observing when using suitable accessories. Also, the telescope is visually a little gem, boasting an elegant design of the highest calibre, with the tube and finder scope gleaming in an aesthetically pleasing shimmering black tone.
The advantages in a nutshell:
- short tube in compact design
- widefield astrophotography possible
- specially good image colour purity from the ED optics
- high-quality glass from Schott, the German market leader in the production of glass
- metallic high transmission coating
